To Victoria, my original questions came in on Tues the 24th so I wasn't expecting an answer on Thanksgiving but was hoping for some word before the holiday started.  But yes, you're right if I really wanted to know if it was full I could have called. Was hoping for a little more info which depending who is working may not be available over the phone...(to explain a little)

Ok...

So I'm not the official TD for the XMAS open but I do help run the event.  I made every attempt I could to let people know that the event would fill the weekend of Nov 21st. 

The list that was posted was a complete list of 120 people which made the tournament full.  Since that time a few people have dropped and we have made a few calls from the waiting list. 

Maybe in the future a final date should be given to let the waiting list people know they are not in and no day of regristations taken.  I'll keep that in mind. 

I'm seriously considering having this tournament on two different days in for the futrue - one Am and One Pro. 

Klangstone- You will be happy to know that we have just had one more person drop and you can play the xmas open.

Thanks Jenny for all you do on the tournaments and for the sport of Disc Golf. We are lucky to have you as our PDGA coordinator. You do a great job. 

Also thanks for being a good sport (and keeping a sense of humor) on the criticism on the forum about lack of presence. Some could take offense by some of the comments in here and you don't. I think that is awesome...
